Yale Performance Art

This article was incredibly interesting to me. I do not agree with it at all and i think it is horrible. BUT as art i can see where Shvartz is coming from and what she is trying to get across. I feel that art these days is about shock value and creating something that has not been done and creating somethgin that will be talked about. Coming from that i definately think that Shvartz has accomplished this. If the whole thing was really a fake then i definately approve of the piece just on the act that it has created so much discussion and contreversy. We need more people willing to push the limits and what is expected.
