The Sublime

I have always heard the term sublime. Especially from the band Sublime. I never really understood what it really meant. I could kinda guess and figure what it means but i never fully understood it. Reading about the sublime i have a better understanding now and i have a newfound appreciation and understanding of the sublime. I didnt realize how talked about it was in the art world by philosphers and artists. When i think sublime i think buddha, as if it is some state of mind that is free. But the new understanding i feel is very important to put into your work and to grasp the concept.
