High/Low Art: Cultural Values

The Snake in the Garden or Imaginary Snakes in Real Gardens i didnt really like all that much. I have a problem with the classification of art in such a cut and dry term. The classification is pretty much seperated into two specific categories and i dont believe that that is fair and that there are more sub-categories of it that need to be included. The craft and art clarification i think was good though and more on point.
The whole idea of art being defined so strictly is going against the meaning of art in the first place. I feel like it is a conundrum and art should not be so defined as a whole but defined by the individual and context
